Delete a local identity

In the current VibeID pilot, the native app creates device-held signing identities rather than a recoverable cloud account. You can delete a local identity from inside the app.

• Open VibeID.
• Go to identity management.
• Select the local identity you want to remove.
• Choose the delete action and confirm the prompt.

• The local persona metadata for that identity.
• The local private signing key entry for that identity.
• The local active-identity selection if it pointed to the deleted identity.

Because the current pilot does not provide key export, cloud sync, or recovery, VibeID support cannot restore a deleted local signing key. If a relying-party website has its own account, session, or logs, that website may need to handle deletion requests for data it stores separately.
